Congratulations! Greater Walpole U18 team coached by Steve Hearon won the 2022 Hub City Town Cup. Greater Walpole and Greater Pembroke had a great week of hockey leading into finals. Greater Walpole won the final contest 8 – 0. Brad Guden tournament MVP had a hattrick and assist for four points while Kyle Abbott All -Tournament Goalie kept an aggressive Greater Pembroke off the board by posting a shutout. Greater Walpole lead all game and was up 4 – 0 after the first half. Greater Walpole maintained the lead during the second half scoring four more times and never looked backed. During the round robin play both Greater Walpole went 3 – 0 - 1 while Greater Pembroke went 3 - 1 before meeting in the championship.
