The '93 Hub City Prospects team rolled into Toronto with unknown expectations. It was evident early, that the Hub City squad meant business. With a solid 3-1 record after round robin play, the fourteenth seed (out of 34 teams) played a tough Strong Hockey team and was defeated 3-0 with an open net goal. Strong Hockey is made up of players from the very highly regarded Toronto Marlies. The Hub City team stayed strong for 18 minutes of the 30 minute game, however, Strong Hockey opened up scoring about the nine minute mark. The Hub City team was able to put on several pushes with plenty of pressure, but was unable to score.

The '93 Hub City players openned up the eyes of many college coaches in attendance, including Boston University, Notre Dame, Colgate University, and many other colleges and junior teams. Congratulations to the players for playing hard and representing Hub City Hockey!
