The Hub City Hockey player of the day is Jed Ortmeyer. Jed plays for the San Jose Sharks and has eight points through 28 games so far this season. He has been up and down from the NHL to the AHL throughout his ten year career. He is hoping to stick with the Sharks this year as he in on pace to put up more points then any other season he has played. He skates in the Hub City Pro League and Paul Vincent Edge Series during the summer.
