Bryan Ewing, Excelling in the ECHL
Jan. 24, 2009

Bryan Ewing is enjoying a solid start to his professional career. The Wheeling, WV native and former Boston University star is ahead of the class in the East Coast Hockey League. The ECHL is the top breeding ground for future AHL and NHL players.  Ewing's line is leading the league. After 39 games, Ewing has 27 goals and 26 assists, for a league leading 53 points.  Ewing adds to his accolades, being named to the ECHL All-Star team.
Ewing is under contract with the Wilkes-Barre Penguins (AHL), the top affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL) and is looking for his first opportunity to prove himself in the American Hockey League. Until then, he is on a torrid scoring pace!
Ewing is a Hub City Hockey summer participant, both in the Pro league as well as Paul Vincent's Edge Series.
